It’s found in almost every supermarket and grocery store. It’s a flavour that most of us would have some sort of connection to. But for us at Beanstalkr (Beans Talkr / Bean Stalkr take your pick!), we never actually knew where chocolate came from and we’re slowly finding out that a lot of chocolate eaters are in the same boat!
We’re here for anyone that’s eaten chocolate right through to diehard chocolate lovers. And we want to show you a whole other side of chocolate you never knew existed. Because we didn’t until just a few years ago (which we STILL can’t wrap our heads around!)
Chocolate making is an amazing process but its fascinating that we don’t know more about it…
From how it grows to how it’s made.
From how one bar from one country can taste so different to a bar who’s cocoa beans came from another country
or were roasted differently
or were grown in opposite seasons,
And yet we’ve been treated to the same chocolate flavour for decades…
And don’t get us wrong, that chocolatey flavour is delicious but we might have been missing out on something very special. It’s safe to say we’ve become obsessed with chocolate, and we’re excited to share everything we’ve been digging into. And so we all know what we’re in for, here’s a sneak peek on what we’ll cover:
we’ll eventually get to how to find YOUR flavours when you taste chocolate (because we all taste differently from each other), and how to find what you prefer, because we all like different things too!
And there’s a lot more! Like like marketing, packaging, chocolate experiences. There is so much to cover, but its totally worth it. And it’s worth its because
“Something we’ve been so familiar with since childhood, that we crave as adults and is so easy for us to buy, shouldn’t be THIS unknown.“
Next time you take a bite out of a bar or unravel a wrapper, think about what you already know about chocolate, and then start to wonder about what you don’t know.. yet! Let us know what you think! And thanks for talking beans with us!
