This special Valentine’s class will focus on the romantic history of chocolate through the ages. Is it really an aphrodisiac?
Why do we pack bon-bons in heart shaped boxes? Why were Spanish colonial women forbidden from eating chocolate? Could you really purchase a wife if you had enough cacao beans?
The past 600 years of cacao history are packed with fascinating, crazy stories, many with a very “intimate” side.
In addition to the history lesson we will taste some of the most romantic bars on the planet. Bring a date!
