When: Saturday, February 15 · 4:30 – 6pm EST
There will be no valentines theme here. Simply an experience for you and your sweetie or friends to sit back, relax, enjoy a flight of incredible chocolate, and learn. We’ll discuss the history of chocolate, the process of how chocolate is made, how to properly enjoy your chocolate, and the differences between industrial and craft chocolate. Perfect for those who love to learn about their food and explore new flavour territory.
You will receive a flight of 16 cacao/chocolate samples and an informative handout. All chocolate is made from various craft makers in Canada and the world, with a focus on ethically sourced cacao, real ingredients. All samples will be free of soy, nut, and gluten ingredients, but there will be a few with dairy (so not all samples will be vegan).
Hosted at the Chocolate With Geoseph tasting room in Mississauga near Dixie and Derry (6600 Davand Drive, Unit 1). Your Host, Geoseph, is a professional chocolate sommelier and has worked in the chocolate industry for nearly 17 years.
All are welcome. This will be a educational yet fun and relaxing environment. If you’re shy around tasting fine foods such as wine, coffee, do not fear. I’m here to encourage you to learn and discover flavour in a way that works for you. We’re all capable of being great tasters!
