October 4, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
€99.00
Learn the finer points of how to taste both chocolate and wine like a pro, identify key flavor profiles in each and then embark on a pairing journey that will change the way you look at both forever! Modest apero nibbles provided at the end.
This unique experience of approximately 2.5 hours will take you on a tasting journey around the world through fine wines and single origin bean to bar chocolates. You will be guided by a certified Chocolate Tasting Specialist AND a Wine and Spirits Trust 3 Specialist with merit. Use some fine-tuned materials and guidelines to truly attune your palate and learn more than you ever thought possible about the finer points of understanding chocolate and wine.
As this is an early evening event, some light nibbles will be provided at the end of the course. Please communicate any dietary restrictions once you’ve registered.
Your course will take place in an elegant, private Parisian residence in the 15th arrondissement, near the Motte-Piquet metro. Each of the 4-5 wines and champagnes you will taste have been curated as a sampler of wine types, while maximizing your experience and representing a market range. The chocolates have also been hand picked from a selection of ethical and sustainable bars, produced by small to medium sized bean to bar companies sourcing beans from all over the world! Taste chocolates from the most refined plantations of Peru to the jungles of India. Some of these exclusive chocolates are not normally available in France, but participants will be able to purchase bars online in advance, in person after the class or any time at home.
