Overview
Fine Single-Origin Chocolate, Fine Cheese, & Cured Meats. A unique tasting adventure with chocolate.

The Experience:
Chocolate was originally a drink, and not a sweet hot cocoa drink, but a more savoury unsweetened drink with corn, chili, and deep dark roasted cocoa. Today, we only think of chocolate as a dessert. This tasting will take you through a fun and unique experience where we will try various fine single-origin chocolate samples and pair them with cheese and cured meats. Definitely a tasting for the more adventurous. Please note that this tasting cannot be made dairy or meat free, but will be nut and gluten free (although I cannot guarantee no traces of nuts or gluten).

What’s included:
A flight of single-origin dark chocolates, fine cheeses, and cured meats as well as other charcuterie appropriate nibbles/sips. All chocolate is made with fine, ethically sourced cacao. You will also take home a tasting guide, flavour wheel keepsake, and two single-origin chocolate bars.

What to bring:
Yourself! But also we request:

You come hungry/with an appetite for the best tasting experience, as being full dims our sense of flavour. Try and have a light meal beforehand, or plan a meal after the tasting if you can.
Please no strong perfumes or scents as this will interrupt yours and other’s ability to taste properly

Dietary requests:
There will be chocolate, dairy, and meat, but no nuts or gluten/wheat products (however I cannot guarantee no traces of nuts or wheat). If you have questions before booking, please contact.

About The Host: Working in chocolate since 2007, and is a chocolate sommelier, chocolateir, and chocolate maker. Created a bean-to-bar tasting compass, the bean-to-bar map app, and has hosted countless tasting and chocolate making classes over the years.
