From bean to bar
With the goal of creating Mexico’s most sophisticated chocolate, Metiche was born in 2021; offering a deep dive into our Mexican roots through the palate, using cacao as a medium.
Located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Metiche is a chocolate shop dedicated to making chocolate from scratch using only Mexican beans.
In the workshop, the cacao beans are roasted, ground with sugar, and finally packaged.
In 2023, Metiche won its first two silver medals at the inaugural Chocolate Awards in Mexico (the most important international chocolate institution dedicated to evaluating and awarding the world’s best chocolates).
At Metiche, each chocolate is made from scratch in our workshop in Guadalajara. We use only Mexican cacao beans, which are roasted, ground with sugar, and carefully packaged. This artisanal process guarantees the highest quality and an authentic flavor that reflects our roots.
