Visiting award winning co-ops (Norandino, APROCAP) and farms where you’ll taste fresh cacao and see some of the rarest cacao genetics in the world, all while getting a chance to talk and connect with cacao producers.
Taking guided tours of local Piura award-winning small-batch chocolate makers: Magia Piura, Korin Chocolate, Chocoazú.
Multiple chocolate tastings.
A night in the rare wet forest of Canchaque, where we’ll have a night with hot chocolate under the stars and a gourmet breakfast with a specialty coffee tasting.
Visiting Peroles de Mishahuaca, natural-forming pools in slide-like rock formations where you’ll have the option for a nice swim and take in the picturesque vista from the Mirador Cerro Huayanay lookout.
Partaking in a cacao ceremony on the gorgeous beaches of Mancora.
Taking a culinary class of a Peruvian specialty dish from a professional chef.
Visiting the Cacao Life manufacturing plant and enjoying a gourmet catered lunch in its farmyard.
Attending a day at the world-famous “Salon del Cacao y Chocolate” fair, where you’ll experience the world of craft chocolate makers coming together with cacao producers and live entertainment.
