Join Benjamin Setor Gbadago, Benjamin Setor Gbadago is a supply chain storyteller and cultural researcher who is using narrative to humanize the cocoa industry from the ground up.

Born and raised among cocoa farmers in Ghana, his mission is to bridge the cultural gap between chocolate consumers and African cocoa producers through immersive storytelling that brings dignity, nuance, and clarity to supply chains.

As the founder of African Cocoa Stories, Benjamin travels to cocoa-producing communities across Africa to document the lived experiences of farmers, bringing their faces and voices to the center of global conversations on sustainability and transparency in the chocolate industry.

His storytelling has reached audiences at Clasen Quality Chocolate (US), Chocolate Has a Name (UK), Harvard University, Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria), and Leiden University (Netherlands).

Benjamin is a passionate photographer. Always curious about people. And he loves the thrill of discovering something surprising about his many cocoa farmer neighbors.
