Back in 2017, the founders of Black Jaguar Chocolate Scott & Emilie were film crew on a Agroforestry documentary.
They encountered Cacao Trees, planted seedlings in the Amazon Basin of Bolivia and the relationship began very close to where Cacao trees and human culture originated thousands of years ago.
Scott and Emilie travelled for many years in the origin lands of cacao. Peru, the Amazon of Bolivia, the Sierra Nevada of Columbia, the Volcanic Ridges of Guatemala, and the Mayan sites in Mexico. A sense of wonder of the mysteries of Cacao led them to exceptional Cacao in Nicaragua where they created a fine chocolate business which they moved to Vancouver Island in 2021.
We will be tasting five different chocolates with Scott as he shares his thoughts, wisdom, and experiences in the world of chocolate. Don’t miss it!
Tastings sell out – so book your spots right away!
