Please join us for a tea & chocolate pairing with the amazing folks from Callisto Tea House at their beautiful space in Pasadena! This is the second of two events, the first happening here, at The Chocolate Dispensary, on Sunday September 28th at 7 pm, the second on the 19th September.
The event will present four different tea and chocolate pairings, carefully curated by us at The Chocolate Dispensary and Wendy and Nathan from Callisto. We’ll learn how the ancient tea leaf and cacao have been used for thousands of years as medicine, in ceremony, as cultural exchange, and in social gatherings. The tasting will also explore how different types of teas and chocolate offer wide-ranging flavors and aromatic experiencess, enhancing and changing the tasting experience of each individual component.
Callisto specializes in Gong Fu Tea, the traditional Chinese way of tea, which teases out flavor notes and characteristics with each brew. They carry teas from all over the world and offer an Afternoon Tea service with house-made pastries and toasts.
